Unlike other motorized polishers, the carbide wheels, the heart of the machine, last thousands of pivots longer. This may be do to the design of the Morgan and the ability to have the oil clear away the metal dust. Other units would need to be taken apart and cleaned every other pivot to rid of this metal dust. Since this is harder to do it doesn't get done and coniquanly, the carbide wheel quits cutting when the metal dust clogs the wheel, preventing it from cutting.

The important infomation is, you can use a liberal amount of oil and the wheel will last for years. You don't have to change the wheel to a "course wheel" either to cut hard pivots. In a demenstation where hard pivots were polished and compared to a $2500 unit, the Morgan out polished the import and did so quickly.
